Help / Minutes from recordings
Upload a meeting recording
Open the meeting and use Upload the meeting recording under Minutes.
What works
- Audio or video: MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MOV and most other common formats, up to 5 GB.
- A phone on the table, a Zoom recording, or your streaming system's download all work. Clearer audio gives better drafts: a recorder near the members beats one at the back of the room.
- If your meeting is on YouTube, download the video (or the audio) and upload that file; for the public page you can also paste the YouTube link so the video plays next to the minutes.
What happens next
We transcribe the recording, work out who is speaking, and draft minutes in your board's style. A typical meeting is ready within the hour, and we email you. You can close the page while it works.
Recording hours
Each paid board includes 10 recording hours a month, shared across your boards; the free plan includes two meetings drafted from recordings in total. A long month can run over by a quarter before we ask you to add hours. See Recording hours.
If something goes wrong
If processing fails (for example a file with no audio), the meeting shows the reason and a Retry button, and a failed free meeting doesn't count against your two. If the upload itself stalls, see Troubleshooting.
